Vinification
Wooden, concrete and stainless steel vats. Gentle extraction, traditional pumping-over. Maceration for twenty days.
Maturing/ageing : 8 months in barrel. 60% new barrels and 40% one-wine barrels.
Tasting commentary
Château du Tertre 2022 is marked by fresh, greedy Merlot. Elegant, fine, silky Cabernet-Franc with lovely tension. Concentration, rich fruit and powerful tannins characterize the Petit-Verdot. Finally, the Cabernet-Sauvignon offer incredible density, with a perfect balance between the essence of the fruit and the tannic structure. A fully mature wine combining structure, delicacy and finesse.
