Tasting commentary
The nose is marked by candied quince and fig aromas, toasted and vanilla notes, but also fresher notes of ginger, candied lemon and lemon curd. On the palate, the wine's attack is immediately powerful and remarkably complex. Freshness counterbalances the power and fatness of this well-balanced wine.
