Tasting commentary
Brilliant ruby with burgundy highlights. The nose is expressive and complex. Spicy aromas (cinnamon, nutmeg) mingle with elegant notes of roasting. Aeration reveals fruitier notes of black cherry, candied plum and fruit in brandy. The palate is characterized by a fleshy attack evolving over a tannic framework that is tight but velvety to the touch. The blend of spices and very ripe fruit lends the wine its deliciousness and, above all, its aromatic persistence.
