Owner's words
First classified growth in 1855 Sauternes, Clot Haut-Peyraguey is located at the highest point of the hill of Bommes. Its exceptionnal terroir, its unparalleled exposure makes Clos Haut Peyraguey a wine of great subtlety, a nectar of lightness and refinement. Since 1618, date of first harvests in this former barony, Clos Haut-Peyraguey has enchanted lovers of very fine wines, always able to recognize exceptional nectars and singular elegance. The property has belonged to Bernard Magrez since 2012. The Clos Haut-Peyraguey 2021 grapes have been harvested in 4 successive pickings, between the 1st and the 28th October. The Clos Haut-Peyraguey 2021 palate mixes candied and roasted notes, combining freshness and aromatic complexity, with lots of floral notes. THe Peyraguey terroir, bringing its finesse and elegance touch, offers us a very promising 2021 vintage.
