Owner's words
Thanks to its climatology close to the 1990s, 2021 is a vintage marked by a different alcohol-acidity balance from previous years. More digestible, with moderate alcoholic strength, full of freshness and accomplished phenolic maturity, especially on Cabernet Sauvignon, it is a wine that reconnects with the historical identity of Bordeaux wines. The colour is purple with violet reflections, the wine gives off a complex nose where the fresh aromas of raspberry, strawberry and currant mingle with floral scents. The mouth is straight and precise with a savory structure that the woodiness reinforces with aromas of mocha. La Tour de By 2021 is above all a winegrower's vintage, where the work and the terroir were decisive, and which expresses the freshness and structure that once made the great wines of Bordeaux famous.
