Owner's words
2021 was a vintage of challenges. From cold snaps in Spring to a moody Summer, 2021 was marked by volatile weather. Despite this our "terroir", the hilltops of gravel and clay and the lower slopes of sandy gravel, came to the fore. The natural drainage was an important element in the success of this vintage. The harvest was late (28 September to 12 October) to ensure optimal maturity, and short to preserve the quality of the grapes. The vinifications were conducted in the manner most respectful to the grapes, with soft extractions at moderate temperatures, in order to maintain the elegance and the delicate nature typical of our wines. The result is a very well-balanced wine. It is subtle, dynamic and concentrated but without excess power. The wine is delicious for its finesse and charm, with a very good ageing potential.
