Owner's words

This 2025 vintage of Domaine de Chevalier unquestionably stands among the great vintages of the past decade. Its style conveys great class and refinement, set within a framework of remarkable freshness. Indeed, the various grape varieties that compose the blend (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot) achieved full ripeness without excess, contributing decisively to this sense of freshness. Excellent climatic conditions allowed for very precisely timed harvest dates and ensured impeccable sanitary quality. Vinifications were precise and carefully adapted. On the nose, fresh red and black fruits intertwine with empyreumatic and spicy notes characteristic of the terroir. The expression and intensity of this bouquet are highly promising. On the palate, a velvety, fleshy and delicate texture, intensely driven by fruit, envelops a tannic framework whose density, finesse and elegance are reminiscent of silk. The superb maturity of the tannins brings great suppleness to this fresh yet dense structure, already delivering intense and rare pleasure at this stage. A finish of great class. A great wine.
