Vinification
Traditional
Maturing/ageing

After meticulous triple sorting by hand, supplemented by optical sorting, the finest berries are dé́licatementachemined into vats for parcel-by-parcel vinification. The extraction of tannins and anthocyanins is carefully measured́ea in order to obtain the most elegant wines. The final blend is made during ageing with wines from the best plots.

Owner's words
The 2024 vintage was a challenging one, with capricious weather conditions. Autumn 2023 and winter 2024 were hot and very rainy, contributing to historically early and virulent fungal disease pressure. This pressure continued throughout the spring due to cooler-than-normal temperatures and heavy, especially stormy, rainfall. A hailstorm on 17 May caused extensive local damage. Summer was more typical. September was cool and rainy, but the grapes produced fresh, fruity wines with a slightly less tannic structure than we had become accustomed to in recent, rather warm, vintages.
