Owner's words
ESCAPE GAME, the new rule of winemaking. A mild, wet winter replenishes soil reserves. Budburst goes smoothly with no frost. From May 22, flowering benefits from perfect weather. A rainy spring brings high mildew pressure, but skilled growers manage it well. A sunny summer, with helpful storms and no extreme heat, ensures excellent ripening. Harvest (Sept 4–25) occurs in ideal conditions. Juices are rich, fresh, and balanced. Deep, vibrant colors. Aromas of red and black fruits, violet, peony. A stunning 2023 vintage in Pomerol, full of surprises.
