Tasting commentary
Appearance : Ruby-red wine, very good depth with violet highlights. Pronounced color intensity, a sign of good concentration. Nose: Red and black fruit aromas hint at ripeness. On aeration: The fruit bouquet becomes more precise, with morello cherry, strawberry and blackberry. Cabernet brings well-balanced spicy notes. The oak, still young, is present and blends perfectly with the concentration of the vintage. On the palate: A supple attack, the substance of this 2022 vintage can be felt very quickly, with concentrated, noble tannins and a well-coated mid-palate. On the finish, the tannins are once again present, and the substance is dense. Barrel ageing supports and coats this structure to perfection. The finish is fresh, with excellent length and aromatic persistence.
