Owner's words
Deep burgundy color with brilliant highlights.  The first nose is characterized by ripe red fruit aromas, a very fine first impression. Agitation reveals great complexity, with notes of black fruit, blackcurrant and cherry, as well as subtle hints of sweet spices underlined by a lovely, perfectly integrated woodiness.  The palate is initially marked by freshness. The tannic structure gradually builds to a dense, powerful mid-palate, with silky volume. Very good length, with persistent red fruit aromas.
