Thanks to good groundwater reserves, and the implementation of adapted cultivation techniques, the vine has shown resilience despite the summer heat. The smaller size of the berries gave juices with a beautiful natural concentration carried by fine tannins and notes of ripe black fruits. Following the malolactic fermentations, we were already obtaining very frank, clean, and fruity wines, with low pH values, a guarantee of longevity. The wines have again gained in sweetness, aromatic volume. The current breeding will allow to patinate the whole to result in a very gourmet vintage. At this stage, it is already obvious that this vintage will be remembered!
