Owner's words
Château Haut-Bergey, Pessac-Léognan Rouge 2025, is the result of careful work with the three great Bordeaux grape varieties, with Merlot in the lead. It reflects our commitment to a natural approach to viticulture, certified organic and biodynamic, with respect for living systems and for the expression of the vintage. The nose reveals beautiful aromatic purity, driven by clear red fruit, fresh vegetal notes and a slightly wild touch. The balanced ripeness of the Merlot combines with the deeper ripeness of the Cabernets, bringing balance, freshness and complexity. Ageing in foudres and demi-muids for 18 months supports the wine with finesse. Already approachable in its youth, it also has the structure needed to evolve beautifully over time.
